Shaden is not a medical service and not a contraceptive. It does not diagnose, and its predictions are estimates. Fertile days shown in the app must not be used to prevent or achieve pregnancy. For anything that worries you, speak to a doctor.
What Shaden is
A companion for tracking your cycle and understanding it. It predicts a window for your next period, never a single date, because a cycle moves with stress, illness, travel and time. The accuracy figure shown in the app is our own estimate of how much to trust that window, and it is capped below 100% deliberately.
Purity and fasting
The purity and fasting section works out hayd, istihada and tuhr from the madhhab you choose and the days you log. It is a calculation offered for guidance, not a fatwa. If your case is unusual, or the answer does not match what you know of yourself, ask a scholar.
Talking to Shaden
Shaden answers questions about cycles and symptoms in plain language. She declines questions about contraception, diagnosis, and matters of fiqh, and points you to a doctor or a scholar instead. She can be wrong. Nothing she says is medical advice.
Your account and subscription
An account is needed only to talk to Shaden and to carry a subscription between devices. Everything else works signed out. Shaden Plus is a recurring subscription billed by Apple or Google; manage or cancel it in your App Store or Play Store account, not here. A free trial converts unless you cancel before it ends.
Your content
What you log is yours. We claim no rights over it, and we cannot read it — it stays on your device.
Ending your use
Delete the app whenever you like; that removes your data from the device. To close your account, email support@shaden.app.
Liability
Shaden is provided as it is. We do not warrant that predictions, rulings or answers will be accurate, and we are not liable for decisions made on the basis of them. Nothing here limits rights you have under the law where you live.
